exhibitions 2006

CAC-Schau in Himmelkron on June 25th 2006

Byron von Saxenheim Sensation - Result: excellent 3 from 7 male

Mephisto vom Aischgrund - Result: excellent 1, CAC-Res. and was brought in suggestion for candidature for the title German Champion (VDH).

Judge by the male was Mr. Fischbach, who brought the whole exhibition sovereign over the day. By the female we could not evaluate it, since we were too much talking with friends and was little bit busy.

CAC-Schau in Aichach on July 16th 2006

Byron von Saxenheim Sensation - Result: excellent 4??????????

Mephisto vom Aischgrund - Result: excellent 1, and was brought in suggestion for candidature for the title German Champion (VDH).

By the females arranged Mr. Walze, who did a sovereign job at the exhibition, what we heard. With the males was Mrs. Maier-Breitsamer at the row, she is normaly a very good Judge, but at this day unfortunately she didn't had on this day the best "daily form". This was not only our view, other people on the place felt the same. For example Byron, he was stung by several wasps just before his introduction into the ring and because of this he could not run well and was evaluated on his last exhibition with excellent 4. The explanation was, that the momentary condition means the  "the daily form" of the dog is crucial and not the kind of race condition! Which defines all claims to pure paper-form in our eyes, and are not the paper worth on which their are standing. Shortly means that - look for a judge with his good "daily-form" and than look that the dog have also his good "daily-form" and then it will already fit?! Stands firmly: That after studying the FCI regulations Byron wrongly evaluated. He would have had to be judged either completely normally, without his problems, or o.B., neans without evaluation with the written reason of the judge why! Now the question arises for us: Should we feel flattered that Byron became without to run still another excellent 4, or was the evaluation simply not correct? We are sure that it looked differently without having any problems however - the main thing for us is that Byron runs again normally.

IHA-Wels on December 3rd 2006

Byron von Saxenheim Sensation - Result: very good - great strong male, distinctive head, less stop, ears not correct carried, good throat with much throat-skin, hind-leg straight bending, good forehand.

Mephisto vom Aischgrund - Result: excellent 2 Reserve CACA - heftier male, very good head, dark eyes, correct ears, correct neck throat with throat-skin, good backline, beautiful chest, good motion-sequence.

Judge was Mr. Milan Krinke from Czechoslovakia, we don't want to loose one more word about him! The statement from him is enough, that Byron doesn't have a stop and correctly carried ears!!! But the most smiled about him or were annoyed. Our thanks are entitled however to the Austrian Great-Dane-Club, they changed the order of the  exhibition for us, so that could leave earlier. Again cordial thanks!
