June 2nd - June 17th 2006 - On the way to our holiday house in Croatia we visited Susanne, Wolfgang, the old lady Maureen and Murphy, he was as puppy in a animal house and we arranged some months ago a beautiful place in Styria. At our arrival in Croatia we had in the first days unwelcome visitors (scorpions) however these visitor disappeared fast in the first day. Then a very welcome visitor - Sirid - came and our dogs had a lot of fun with her, exactly the same as we. By the visit of the arena in Pula Byron and Mephisto had a great attendance and were nearly more photographed than the Roman monuments. If we would have received one Euro for each photo and ten Euro for each film, the dog food would be financed for one year:-))!

June 24th 2006 - We was by Monika and Jürgen Preiss and the "Doggen von den langen Bergen" for a visit. For us was it a special day, because it is all the time a great pleasure to visit our friends. Who ever knows this family points what we mean! Also the Great Danes there are a real dream: quiet and balanced. We are looking forward to our next meeting!
June 25th 2006 - Although we did not want to exhibit any more, Karin Gewinner could convince us that we placed our Great Danes again to her exhibition. Not completely unsuccessfully! Byron became under seven males third with excellent 3 and Mephisto got excellent 1. More under exhibitions. Also the family Hollensteiner, they are the owner from Mephisto's father, "Sir Henry vom Hause Rawert" were present. At the end we issued successfully the group of breeds of the family Preiss "Doggen von den langen Bergen". We met also Mephisto's brother Max, who is a little ahead in his growing than Mephisto - he looks like a real Male and Mephisto is still our "Baby"! Also Bombax came, from the colouring a very interesting Great Dane. After the exhibition we had only one thing in our brain a cool shower because the heat was terribly and after again to Sandra and Hansi for a barbecue.
